About Us — Bossa Vintage
Bossa Vintage was born around a dinner table at a friend’s house, somewhere between Brazilian music playing in the background, memories of a Copacabana sunset, and afternoons spent playing in our grandmas’, aunties’, and moms’ closets.
As Brazilians living far from home, we carried those rhythms with us: the music, the attitude, the colors, the noise, and the love for beautiful things. We turned them into a space where fashion feels personal, emotional, and fun.
Japan gave Bossa its next chapter. During our travels there, we fell in love with the incredible quality and care found in Japanese vintage. The beautifully preserved pieces, the attention to detail, and the deep respect for fashion history completely changed the way we thought about secondhand shopping.
We began sourcing both online and in person, and soon decided to build our business model exclusively around pieces sourced from Japan. Today, every Bossa find comes through this world of trusted sellers, careful selection and authentication, and a shared belief that beautiful things deserve to be cherished.
For us, fashion should bring back that little spark we felt as kids: opening a new Barbie, getting our first piece of makeup, or finding the cutest shoes and immediately wanting to wear them everywhere.
Bossa is our grown-up version of that feeling. The rush of discovering something special, choosing it simply because it makes you happy, and putting it on to feel a little more like yourself. No sizes, no rules, and no need to justify it. Just beautiful things and that tiny moment of joy when you know: this one is mine.
That’s what we’re really curating. Yes, we care about fashion history, iconic eras, and the stories pieces come with. But what excites us most is what happens next: watching our clients create their own memories, paths, and moments with items that have already lived a little and are ready to live again.
More than vintage.
It’s a feeling.
Some call it style.
We call it Bossa.
