A vintage Etro bucket bag featuring one of the most recognizable signatures of the Italian house: its richly colored Paisley jacquard.
Paisley has been at the heart of Etro's visual language since the early 1980s, and in 1984 the house began bringing its textile heritage into leather goods. The signature coated Paisley jacquard remains so closely associated with Etro that the house continues to use it across its bag collections decades later.
This vintage version pairs the intricate multicolored Paisley canvas with warm brown leather, contrast stitching and aged gold-tone hardware. The relaxed bucket silhouette closes with a leather drawstring and is finished with an adjustable shoulder strap, giving it that perfectly practical, slightly bohemian shape that feels very Etro.
The best part is the palette: from a distance it reads as a beautiful earthy brown, but up close the Paisley reveals layers of burgundy, rust, green and blue. A proper vintage Etro piece where the textile does all the talking.

Bossa Notes: Etro paisley is one of those prints that somehow makes more sense with age. The slightly worn-in brown leather, the deep burgundy and green tones, the giant slouchy bucket shape... this one is giving Italian woman who has owned the same perfect bag for 25 years and absolutely refuses to tell you where she got it. We love it with denim, suede, boots and basically every shade of brown you can find. And yes, it fits a lot.
